This tracked meter counter secures the measuring medium between the upper and lower tracks, ensuring accurate measurement as it progresses. The crawler's length directly correlates with the pitch line length rotated by the crawler wheel, calculated by multiplying the wheel's pitch by its number of teeth.
An encoder mounted on the active crawler shaft records the number of rotations completed, ensuring precise measurement.
Through sophisticated conversion processes, the medium's exact length is determined and logged. The upper crawler's elevation is controlled by an air cylinder, with its lifting range tailored to the medium's external diameter.
